I can't forget about my ex-lover

I failed to forget thinking about my ex-boyfriend since when he dumped me to other girl. Whenever i logged into Facebook i shall think of him. If i'm about to eat i shall think of him. Whenever i smell a perfume i shall think of him. Everywhere i go i shall think of him. Whenever i play music i shall think of him.

In such circumstances the girl may think the intense love she feels toward her ex-boyfriend make her unable to stop thinking of him.

There's psychological term call "Anchor" which suggests that occurrence of something can remind you of something else that happened in the past. Any sense organs be it eye, ear, nose, tongue and skin can remind us the past events. For example: Have you ever saw a girl wearing the type of school uniform you worn in your school days then, and suddenly that remind you of your school days or your school mates? I believe you have been in such situation. Likewise you can remember something that happened years ago if you listen to an old music, this occurs if both things took place simultaneously in the past. Now what do you expect can happen if you went to certain places with your ex-lover on several occasions in the past? What do you expect will happen if you spray certain perfume whenever you are about going to meet your boyfriend in the past? What do you expect will happen if you constantly listen to a particular music when you are together with your then boyfriend? And what do you expect will happen if you always eat certain foods together with your then boyfriend? Actually even after 30 years, whenever you go back to that place where you and your then boyfriend went, you shall think of him. Likewise whenever you listen to that old music which you constantly listen in the past with your then boyfriend you shall think of him. Whenever you spray the type of perfume you had been sprayed when you are together with your ex-boyfriend, the smell of that perfume will remind you of him. Whenever you're about to eat that particular food you eat together then, you shall think of him. For this reasons you can even fall in love with someone at first sight if he looks like your ex-lover or if he display any characteristics or other things that remind you of your ex-lover without realizing this is the reasons.
But some people may mistakenly assume that intense love make them unable to forget their ex-lover.
